A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"Great quiet spot with great food, affordable price, and great service. We ordered the Hongkong Fried Rice and Chicken Fried Rice which was superb! Great spot to just chill and have a drink. Great coffee! Will surely return."
"Love this place! Came here twice already. The staff is amazing, prices are great and the different menu items are amazing ( burger , pancakes and their local dishes) as well as their cold teas. The ambiance is great and it is the perfect chill place for some lunch"
"A cozy place near to the beach with good service and fair prices. I try rum latte. Spagetti bolognese, tasty but little porsion. Nasi Campur with meat, no tasty."
"Very good place, fresh and very good meals for very reasonable price. The interior and exterior are very good looking. Kai was very nice several times we were here and friendly as possible, he's doing his job perfectly"
"Nice quiet place to chill away from the construction and noise of Sanur. You can sit outside on the terrace or inside with the air con. I got the nasi campur which you can customise in a lot of ways and it’s very decent prices for local and western food. Super delicious and extra spicy sambal which I loved! Very friendly staff, and I saw a lot of locals come in as well which is always a good sign!"
"Lovely meals and Matcha Latte. I had the yellow (tumeric) rice pax with shredded chicken, dried tempeh, and corn fritter while my husband had the coleslaw chicken burger and my son had a spaghetti bolognese. All the food are super tasty with the Matcha Latte is very lovely."
"One of my Sanur restaurants that I would give a high/top rating to for price, quality, setting, service etc. Ate here numerous times in September and in December. Breakfast and dinner. My notes from September: O'Sea Same road as Kecil more towards the beach. Ate there probably 5 times. Eggs Benedict breakfast is super value. I love fried potatoes with brekkie ala US hash browns not the shit frozen stuff served up at most places in Oz and from supermarkets. These puppies are baby tats cut in half. I ask for brown and crispy. Bacon, fried cherry tomatoes with herbs, fried mushrooms (fresh, cut in half perfect size) 2 poached eggs. Sourdough toast. 55K in Oz that would be called big breakfast $22 plus in many cases a lot higher. Yes I love a good cooked breakfast. Dont have full on often but as far as breakfast goes this would be on my 5 star list. Starting to reminisce and ramble a bit now but typing this reminded me in general of some things. I think it is fair to tell staff what you want/expect. So for example poached eggs, I say I want soft poached runny yolk. Crispy potatoes. Toast on side (else eggs make bread soggy) etc Without exception if what I asked for was not delivered I asked for it to be fixed. Did not happen much at all but without exception things were fixed promptly with an apology and a smile. In December my wife and I had breakfast and dinners here. Still high standard."
"I used to go there during the pandemic, and it was so nice. A few days ago, after a few years, I came back again, and I found it is even better than before. Their menu is quite rich, and almost everything I have tried was delicious. But the most remarkable thing for me was the Sambal Matah—wow, it was so tasty! I loved it; it was so authentic and fresh. From now on, whenever I go to Sanur, O'sea will be my first choice."
